Partnership to combat corruption is launched
-The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Network Korea and Korea Sustainability Investing Forum (Kosif) joined forces to launch an anticorruption project called the Business Integrity Society, the two institutions said Wednesday.
-Sponsored by Siemens, a German conglomerate, and the World Bank, it aims to revitalize the transparency of investment environment in Korean system.
-Business Integrity Society matches to the rising global trend in Business, ESG (Environmental, Society and Governance), as well as Korea Stewardship Code.
-Kim Young-ho, chief director at Kosif, remarks thatÂ â€œTherefore, Korea should solidify laws and systems that allow companies to adopt stronger anticorruption business practices in a market-friendly manner.
